A calm, stress-free experience
You might be feeling a little nerves about having your photo taken and being in front of the camera, don't worry I am too. Your comfort zone might be happier taking the photos of your little ones, but then do you ever look back over all those hundreds of photos in your camera role and wish you were in the photos as well? Maybe Dad isn't as good at taking the photos of you with your baby as when you take dad with baby (how many of these come out blurred, at a weird angle or so many where your pulling a strange face lol)
This is your chance for everyone to be in the photos this time, and for you to be captured perfectly during a relaxed an fun photoshoot.

My approach to photography is centred around creating a calm, relaxed and enjoyable experience for both you and your family.
I know that for many new mums, the thought of organising a photoshoot in those early days can feel overwhelming. That’s why I’ve created sessions that are intentionally unhurried, baby-led and completely focused on making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.
My style is natural, timeless and simple. You won’t find bright props, overly styled setups or awkward posing here. Instead, I focus on genuine connection, soft neutral tones and capturing your baby and family exactly as you are. The little details, quiet cuddles, natural interactions and in-between moments are often the ones that become the most meaningful.
Every session takes place in my cosy home studio in Nottingham or in beautiful outdoor locations across Nottingham and Derby, carefully chosen to create a warm, relaxed atmosphere where everyone can feel at ease.
I gently guide you throughout your session, so you never need to worry about knowing how to pose or what to do with your hands. My aim is for your photographs to feel effortless and authentic — never forced or unnatural.
For newborn sessions especially, your baby’s comfort and safety are always my priority. Everything is completely baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and breaks whenever needed. There’s no rushing and no pressure, allowing the session to flow naturally around your baby.
More than anything, I want your session to feel like a moment to pause and soak everything in — creating newborn and family photographs that not only look beautiful, but truly remind you of how this stage felt for years to come.
