Simple, Baby-Led and Relaxed
My sessions are always calm, unhurried, and fun, we go at your little one’s pace. Some times it takes a little longer for your 1 year old to warm up to me and my studio. Rushing can cause more stress which means your baby might not settle. Snakes are always a good thing to have on hand as well. Every 1 year old is different — whether that means capturing them crawling, taking wobbly steps, clapping, or simply cuddled in your arms.
I will give a gently guide when needed, but most of the magic happens naturally. The result? A variety of beautiful photos that truly reflect your child’s personality, rather than a set of staged poses. And if all else fails putting on their favourite song or TV program normally works.
All the Focus on Your Baby
Your baby is the star of the day, it's their big day. By keeping props minimal and styling simple, we make sure nothing distracts from them. A simple set up a wooden toy, or a simple cake can add a little fun — but the focus stays firmly on your little one.

A small client wardrobe with simple, neutral outfits that photograph beautifully.
Minimal props chosen to keep things classic and timeless.
A session in my cosy home studio in Nottingham, where everything is set up for comfort and calm.
This means you don’t need to worry about shopping for outfits or styling the session yourself — it’s all taken care of, so you can simply relax and enjoy the experience.
Fun for the Whole Family
While the focus is on your baby turning 1, there’s always space to capture a few family shots too. After all, this milestone is just as much about celebrating your journey as parents as it is about your little one turning one.
You don't have to feel pressured to be in them though, but if you do I'm sure your little one will love looking back over them when they are older.
